I recognize the bravery and vulnerability that causes someone to look for therapy. I respect and appreciate the healing that begins when individuals offer themselves a chance to be seen from their most vulnerable and painful parts. Being your guide as you open your heart, mind, and soul to your journey of self-discovery and healing is a privilege.
I specialize in addressing a range of concerns, including betrayal trauma, addiction, problematic sexual behaviors, infidelity, grief, and launching challenges. Additionally, I am trained in Gottman therapy levels 1 and 2, the Gottman addiction course, and connected recovery level 1, with upcoming APSATS training in November.
My therapeutic approach is Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS, parts work). I work through a trauma-informed lens, helping clients find the disconnects that keep them from living a connected, and whole life with themselves and their loved ones. I aim to establish a safe space for you and your relationships to heal while encouraging change towards the future you want to create. My hope for you is to learn healthier attachment styles and ways of connecting that are more authentic to who you are and who you want to be.
I believe in the systemic view of therapy, recognizing the interconnectedness between individuals, their experiences, and their significant relationships. By fostering a deeper understanding of oneself, one’s attachments, and past wounds, I strive to empower clients to lead more congruent and authentic lives.
I’m originally from Southern California but moved to Idaho for my bachelor’s in Psychology at Brigham Young University. I met my wonderful husband there, and we have grown so much together. Our golden doodle, Oakley, is our cute adventure buddy. Nature is my favorite place to be, I enjoy hiking in Utah, Idaho, and California. I am very outgoing and love to connect with others! I prioritize my free time with friends and family to fill my cup!
