I understand the vulnerability required to take that first step and begin therapy. It’s important to me to provide affirming and culturally sensitive practice, to make sure I understand your perspective, and to be authentic throughout the process. I work to provide a space where you will feel safe to explore and gain clarity on what you are hoping to achieve. I love helping my clients create the changes needed to gain a secure sense of peace and fulfillment in their lives, and move forward in confidence.
My experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families as well as providing group therapy for betrayed partners. I have completed training in the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) through APSATS to enhance my work as a Betrayal Trauma Specialist. I am trained to provide EMDR, and incorporate EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) into my work with clients. I also studied the field of sex addiction, compulsive behavior and betrayal trauma for 5 years before becoming a therapist. Some of the challenges I work with include sex addiction, trauma, infidelity, betrayal trauma, chronic anxiety and depression, self esteem/self worth issues, relationship problems, and areas relating to life transitions such as premarital counseling, blending families, divorce, repartnering, maternal health, and parenthood. When you’re ready to take the next step, I’m just a call or text away.
As a California-born eventually turned Texan – in my free time I enjoy hiking and the outdoors, trying new restaurants, spending time with my family, witty memes, and painting.
